Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will propose to the Constitutional Court (CCM) the validation of two MP mandates which belong to the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BECS).
At a today’s meeting, CEC took note of the vacancy of two lawmaker mandates assigned to BECS. The decision was taken after Alla Dolinta had submitted an application on resignation on 11 July 2022 and the other MP mandate became vacant following the death of lawmaker Elena Bodnarenco.
Thus, the vacant mandates were assigned to the next candidates on the electoral list of BECS – jurist and economist Adrian Albu and political pundit Gaik Vartanean.
The MP mandates are to be validated by CCM.
