Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Hydrological Centre of the State Hydrometeorological Centre (SHS) has informed about more warnings, include Red Code of low flow, till 26 July.

„Given the lack of precipitation, as well as because of high air temperatures, on 19-26 July, the  State Hydrometeorological Centre warns about the maintenance of the low level of water in Moldova’s rivers (except for tributaries on the left bank of Dniester),’’ SHS said.

According to SHS, the water flow will be: by 30-40 per cent lower against the multiannual average level (Yellow Code) in the Dniester river; by 15-30 per cent lower against the multiannual average level (Orange Code) in the Prut river.

In the context, the authorities demand that the economic agents and the residents rationally consume the water resources.
