Session of Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova, Poland to take place in Chisinau in next autumn

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The session of the parliamentary Assembly of Moldova and Poland will take place in Chisinau in next autumn. A decision to this end has been taken at a meeting of Deputy Parliament Speaker Mihail Popsoi and new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland to Moldova Tomasz Kobzdej.

According to the parliament’s press service, the officials discussed the cooperation on the parliamentary dimension between the two countries and the situation in the region.

The deputy parliament speaker thanked the Polish authorities for the assistance provided to Moldova. ‘’I welcomed Mr. Ambassador in Chisinau and wished him much success in fulfilling the mandate. We agreed on strengthening the bilateral relations and on turning to good account the present potential,’’ Mihail Popsoi said.

At the same time, Ambassador Tomasz Kobzdej reiterated Poland’s support for Moldova’s European agenda.
