Ambassador of Turkey ends mandate in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova Gürol Sökmensüer, on the occasion of the end of his mandate. The discussion was focused on the bilateral relations between the two states, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state thanked for the support provided on the pandemic period and for the backing of refugees, as well as for the support by Ankara of Moldova’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. President Maia Sandu voiced hope for the deepening of the economic and commercial cooperation, in the security and energy sectors between the two countries.
