Moldovan MP of Shor Party gets 30 days of preventive arrest

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - The MP of the Shor Party, Marina Tauber, has got 30 days of preventive arrest in isolation ward. Magistrates of the Chisinau Court, Ciocana headquarters, issued a ruling to this effect today.

The spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG), Mariana Cherpec, confirmed the information for MOLDPRES.

„Also today, Marina Tauber was accused on those two counts,’’ Cherpec noted.

According to PG, the lawmaker is prosecuted for the forging of the report on the financial management of the Shor Political Party for the first half of the 2022 year, in an attempt to hide the financial means gained and the used ones, as well as on the fact of deliberate acceptance of the Shor Political Party’s financing by an organized crime ring.
