Poland supports Moldova in developing growth pole cities according to Romania's experience

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the cities of Edinet, Soroca, Ungheni, Orhei, Cahul, Comrat, as well as of the Regional Development Agencies (ADR) participated in a study visit to Romania during the last week.
According to ADR Nord, the visit’s included an agenda at the Brasov city hall, where the sides tackled joint subjects dealing with the development of national, regional, county and local strategies, as well as with the functional relations between the institutions which coordinate and implement these public policies documents. The Moldovan delegation also paid a visit on site to the Brasov Road Transport Network (RATBV SA), where the participants in the meeting discussed the facilities of the electric transport and the possibility to take over this experience. Also, the delegation of Moldova visited the Ciugud commune and the Blaj city, two examples of modern settlements.
Due to the new opportunities of cooperation, the experiences shared by the concerned Romanian mayoralties, as well as the Centru Regional Development Agency of Romania can become viable projects for cities from Moldova, the quoted source said.
This activity is carried out within the National Programme of Development of Growth Pole Cities for 2021-2027, with the backing of the project, Support for Growth Pole Cities, implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova, with the financial support of Polish aid.
