Principles of subsidization in developing agriculture, rural environment to be changed in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet today approved a notification of the draft law on the principles of subsidization in the development of agriculture and rural environment.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the amendments see that the value added tax (VAT) for the local action groups (GAL) and the services of setting, assembling, mechanized works, transport services for the projects implemented in the rural environment should be regarded as eligible for the calculation of subsidy.

Therefore, the changes are aimed at motivating the GALs to increase their investments in the rural environment, which will have a positive impact on the improvement of the living standards and the labour conditions in villages and communes.
