Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The government simplifies the procedure of connection, installation and allowing for exploitation of the photovoltaic stations for household consumers. To this end, the cabinet of ministers has given a positive notification to a draft law, meant to promote the use of energy from renewable resources.
According to the communication and protocol department, the goal of the draft law is to make more amendments to the legislation, in order to encourage household consumers to develop projects on the production of electric energy from renewable resources, to cover the own consumption within the limit of the capacities contracted.
Thus, the main provisions of the draft refer to:
Shortening of the term of issuance of the note for connecting installations for production from renewable sources of small capacities, meant for covering the own consumption, from 30 days at the maximum to 10 calendar days.
Excluding the obligation of getting the act of compliance for household consumers, who will assemble production installations from renewable sources within the limits of the power contracted. In this case, the allowing of the production installation to exploitation is confirmed through the statement by the authorized electrician;
In case of household consumers, the urbanism certificate/authorization for construction will not be needed at the designing and the technical project will be carried out for the division of electric energy and resistance of the construction;
The change of the day of payment by the provider of the surplus of electric energy, generated in network by the end consumer, owner of a power station, which produces electric energy from renewable sources for own use, from the end of the year – 31 December to 31 March, so that citizens can use in winter the energy produced during summer.
The amendments suggested in the legislative initiative are meant to help consumers, in particular, the household ones, who represent the most vulnerable category. Thus, the investment costs will be cut, as well as the costs for setting for putting into operation of an electric station using renewable sources for covering the own consumption of the household consumer. This will result in the increase in the domestic production of electric energy.
