Moldovan Health ministry reports about 5,800 cases of infection with COVID-19 in last week

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry has informed about the registration of 5,793 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus on 18-24 July, which is by 2,433 cases more against the week before.

On this period, 29,359 tests were made and 16 deaths were recorded.

Also in the last week, 746 people administered the first dose of anti-COVID vaccine and 2,116 made the booster. As many as 1,067,376 people have been vaccinated with the full scheme so far.

Green Code of COVID-19 remains in Moldova at present and Orange Code was declared in the Chisinau city. At the same time, Yellow Code of coronavirus was announced in the Ialoveni and Anenii Noi settlements. Starting from 1 August, citizens can administer the dose Booster 2 of vaccine against COVID-19.
