Contest for National Prize for 2022 announced in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The government in 2022 will provide 10 national prizes, due to be awarded at the events organized on Moldova’s Independence Day.    

According to the organizers, the National Prize is provided to people who substantially contributed and had a considerable impact on the development of the society, science, technologies, culture, art and sport, as well as to the consolidation of the values, heritage and image of Moldova. The participants in a 26 July meeting of the commission for awarding the National Prize approved the stages of the contest and its conditions. Thus, on the period 27 July – 10 August (17:00),  people and collectives interested can submit the files in electronic format to the email: [email protected].    

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, who chaired the meeting, said, inter alia, that although this year was complicated and painful for the entire region, including for Moldova, it is important that we do not forget about the people whose achievements helped the country or even the world to enjoy more good, more creation and innovation. ‘’Traditionally, these prizes are awarded for the achievements of the previous year. Therefore, we invite the best candidates out of the best ones to register for the 2022 contest,’’ Natalia Gavrilita also said.     

The file on candidate’s registration must contain: a recommendation letter, CV, list of publication and the one of scientific works, literary works, copies of invention patents, etc. The National Prize consists of a diploma, a medal and 100,000 lei for each winner.
