Moldovan parliament to consider government's proposal on extending emergency state

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs, at a 28 July plenary meeting, will consider the government’s proposal on the extension of the emergency state. The parliament’s standing bureau, at a today’s meeting, approved the supplement to the agenda of the plenary meetings for 28 and 29 July.   

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, among the subjects additionally suggested by the standing commissions, there are the drafts on amendment of the law on culture, the law on the principles of subsidization in the development of agriculture and rural environment, the law on the veterinary use medicines.    

The agenda of the last plenary meetings of the 2022 spring session also includes the examination of the draft law on the fund of reducing the energy vulnerability, amendments to the measures as to the implementation of the First Home Programme, a draft which simplifies the connection of installations for producing energy from renewable sources for household consumers and a legislative initiative which envisages the providing of fiscal and customs facilities to the citizens who return to live in Moldova. The lawmakers will also discuss the draft of the new Electoral Code, as well as the Central Electoral Commission’s Report on the financing of political parties and electoral campaigns for 2021.   

The parliament meeting will start on 28 July at 10:00.
