Book exhibition on combating trafficking of people opened at Moldova's National Library

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - The United Nations Information Centre at the National Library of Moldova (BNRM) invites interested people to visit, starting from today, a book exhibition titled, Trafficking of persons – major obstacle to society’s democratization, in the context of the World Day Against Trafficking of Persons, annually marked on 30 July.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the exhibition’s curator, Tatiana Gheiceanu, said the exhibition comprised about 80 publications of BNRM collections and was aimed at enhancing the degree of awareness about the phenomenon of trafficking of people and promoting the protection of their rights.
The exhibition can be visited till 7 August.
