Moldovan parliament launched competition for position of ANRE head

Chisinau, Aug. 1 /MOLDPRES/- The parliamentary economy, budget and finance committee announced today that it has launched the competition for the selection of the candidate for the position of Director of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation /ANRE/.

Candidates can submit applications to the competition until September 5, 2022. Among the candidate selection criteria are experience in the sectors regulated by ANRE, managerial experience, knowledge of the energy market, knowledge of the sectoral legislation and the obligations of the Republic of Moldova in the Association Agreement, but also international experience of collaboration with regulatory institutions.

The future Director of ANRE's Board of Directors must have higher education in the technical, economic, financial or legal fields and at least ten years of experience in one of these fields. At the same time, at least three years' experience in management positions in public institutions or enterprises in the sectors regulated by ANRE is required. The candidate must present a letter of motivation, written in Romanian, in which he explains his vision of ANRE's activity.

According to the legislation, ANRE is managed by a Board of Directors, made up of five directors, appointed by the Parliament on a competitive basis.
