Moldovan electoral body to propose to Constitutional Court validation of MP mandate

Chisinau, Aug. 1 /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will propose to the Constitutional Court the validation of the deputy mandate in the name of Vasile Porțevschi, an alternate candidate on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).
In today's meeting, the CEC took note of the vacancy of a deputy's mandate in the Parliament, assigned to PAS.
The decision was taken after parliamentarian Vladimir Bolea submitted a resignation request, being appointed Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
The parliamentary mandate is to be validated by the Constitutional Court.
