Moldovan tax body collected over 31 billion lei since beginning of year

Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The State Fiscal Service (SFS) announced today that receipts from the National Public Budget in the first seven months of the year amounted to 31.3 billion lei (over 1.5 billion euros), which indicates an increase of 4913, 5 million lei or by 18.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the Tax Office, 13.7 billion lei were collected from the State Budget in 2022, which is 2691.2 million lei more compared to the same period in 2021, or an increase of 24.4% .

"The local budgets recorded receipts in the amount of approximately 3.4 billion lei, which is 453.3 million lei more compared to the same period of the previous year or by 15.2%", indicates the SFS.

Also, in the mentioned period, 10.6 billion lei were collected from the State Social Insurance Budget, which is about 1340.7 million lei more compared to the similar period of the previous year, or an increase of 14.5%.

At the same time, 3.5 billion lei were accumulated in the mandatory healthcare insurance funds, which is 428.2 million lei more compared to the similar period of 2021 or by 13.7%.
