First intelligent education laboratory inaugurated at high school in Durleşti

Chisinau, 4 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- First smart education laboratory in the Republic of Moldova, SmartLab INACO, was inaugurated yesterday at the Hyperion Theoretical High School in Durlești, with the participation of officials from Chisinau and Bucharest and education experts from Copenhagen, London and Dubai.

This innovative educational project is implemented by the INACO Association - Initiative for Competitiveness, from Bucharest, Romania. "Students and teachers of the high school in Durleşti will have fascinating, memorable experiences during the lessons where the latest generation equipment will be used, such as VR/AR equipment, multifunctional robots, printers, scanners and 3D pens, touch screen computers, but also software educational and work materials essential in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) teaching-learning process", according to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC).

At the same time, the modern video-streaming system, with which the laboratory is now equipped, will give young people the opportunity to meet and even participate together with students from other countries in the same classes, for example mathematics, biology or chemistry. Through this system, teachers can remotely access trainings and workshops with international specialists, benefiting from the exchange of experience, the improvement of pedagogical skills and even joint research projects.

Galina Rusu, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, present at the inauguration, thanked the Romanian partners for their involvement in the modernization of the education system in the Republic of Moldova, emphasizing the importance of increasing the attractiveness of schools in the country, stimulating the creativity of students and teachers, as well as preparing the new generation for the professions the future.

The first SmartLab in the Republic of Moldova was created through a donation of approximately 90 thousand euros, made by the INACO Association, with the support of the Danish company Shape Robotics.
