Moldovans to be able to exchange driving licenses in Bulgaria without passing additional exam

Chisinau, 4 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- Citizens of the Republic of Moldova will be able to exchange their driving licenses in Bulgaria without taking an additional exam.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, this is possible due to the fact that both states are parties to the Road Traffic Convention.

"The authorities continue to make efforts to facilitate the exchange of driving licenses issued in the Republic of Moldova in the countries of residence of the diaspora", it is mentioned in a press release of the ministry.

In the last year, the Bulgarian side exchanged 226 driving licenses issued by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, 15 driving licenses issued by the Bulgarian authorities were changed to Moldovan driving licenses.
