Moldovan roadmen returned to prominent international organization

Chisinau, Aug. 5 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova has restored its membership status in the World Road Association (PIARC), which is an international platform for the exchange of knowledge in the field of road infrastructure and practices used in road development in a context of integrated sustainable transport, the State Road Administration (ASD) has reported.

"As a member of the association, we will share the common goal of an integrated, sustainable and safe transport system. In addition to the benefit of participating in the international road community, we will have access to the proceedings of the platform congress, view and download documents on the work of the committees that will exchange experience on the spectrum of issues related to roads and road transport. Moldovan road users will have the opportunity to discuss with experts from numerous fields about road safety and protection, operation and maintenance of networks", indicates ASD.

The association is open to everyone and currently has 124 members, including the Republic of Moldova.
