Revenues of about 49 billion lei accumulated in national public budget

Chisinau, Aug. 5 /MOLDPRES/- In January - July 2022, the national public budget (BPN) collected revenues in the amount of 48.7 billion lei (approx. 2.4 billion euros), increasing by 7.7 billion lei compared to the period similar to last year, the Ministry of Finance announced today.

The expenses amounted to 52.6 billion lei, which compared to the same period of 2021 are higher by 7.9 billion lei. The execution of the BPN ended with a deficit in the amount of 3.9 billion lei, and the balances of the monetary means in the accounts of the component budgets of the national public budget constituted 10.1 billion lei.

"The revenues of the state budget in 7 months of 2022 constituted 30.6 billion lei, increasing by 5.4 billion lei compared to the same period of 2021. The revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service constituted 13 .7 billion lei, 2.7 billion lei more compared to the same period last year, and the revenues administered by the Customs Service amounted to 18.3 billion lei, increasing by 3.4 billion lei compared with the respective period of 2021", according to the Ministry of Finance.

State budget expenditures were executed in the amount of 36 billion lei, being higher by 5.6 billion lei compared to 2022. The execution of the state budget ended with a deficit in the amount of 5.4 billion lei, and the cash balances in the state budget accounts constituted 5.7 billion lei. During the reference period, the Ministry of Finance ensured the honoring of all financial commitments, all payments being fully financed.
