Moldovan deputy premier visits Gura Bicului village

Chisinau, Aug. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian today visited the village of Gura Bîcului, Anenii-Noi district, a locality located in the perimeter of the Security Zone, the Reintegration Policy Bureau has reported.
Accompanied by the representatives of the Political Reintegration Bureau, the deputy prime minister discussed the current situation with the representatives of the local public administration and deconcentrated subdivisions, village residents, farmers, economic agents.
During the dialogue, some problems faced by the local population were revealed, such as the need to improve the operating conditions of public and educational institutions.
Attention was also drawn to some aspects that would limit the population's access to some public services due to the neglect by economic agents of the obligations provided by the legislation in force.
The deputy prime minister assured that the stated problems will be forwarded to the competent authorities to be analyzed and resolved.
The projects implemented through the program of activities for the reintegration of the country in the period 2013-2022 were noted, within which the Gura Bîcului town hall benefited from the implementation of 8 projects, thus street lighting systems were built, a recreation area was arranged, the roof was renovated the culture house, the rooms of the village's history and ethnography museum were repaired, and this year the drinking water supply infrastructure in the locality will be rehabilitated.
Oleg Serebrian visited the Gura Bîcului gymnasium, the public library to which books were donated, the culture house, the family doctors' office and the museum of history and ethnography.
A stop was also made at the bridge over the Dniester river that connects the localities of Gura Bîcului and Bîcioc, damaged in 1992 and rebuilt in 2001, with the support of European partners.
