Large part of population to benefit from winter compensation

Chisinau, August 8 /MOLDPRES/- The compensations in the cold period of the year will be for a large part of the population, so people do not have to worry about being left without support in the winter. The statement was made today by Marcel Spatari, Minister of Labor and Social Protection, at the presentation of the Government's activity report, which has completed one year since the investiture.

"The support of the population in the cold season, which is expected to be more complicated in the context of the geopolitical and economic conditions in the region, will be complex, well targeted and oriented towards those who really need help. No one from the needy categories will be left without support", said the minister.

According to the official, a large part of the country's population will benefit from the compensation, with the exception of citizens with very high incomes, as well as those who are able to pay their communal services.

On August 6, 2021, the investiture ceremony of the Government led by Natalia Gavrilița took place. Today, the Cabinet of Ministers presented the activity report, called "A year of governance in solidarity with the people".
