Sheriff Tiraspol leaves this year's edition of Champions League

Chisinau, Aug. 10 /MOLDPRES/-Football team Sheriff Tiraspol leaves the current edition of the Champions League after suffering defeats in both legs against the Czechs from Viktoria Plzen, with 1-2.
However, the champion of the Republic of Moldova will continue its European journey in the UEFA Europa League play-off, according to the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF).
"Sheriff Tiraspol will play FC Pyunik (Armenia). The away match will take place on August 18, and the return leg on August 25 in Chisinau", indicates FMF.
