Chisinau, August 11 /MOLDPRES/-President Maia Sandu today invited the children to make written and drawing works on the occasion of Independence Day, marked on August 27.

The official emphasized that the initiative is organized in the context of the national holidays in August. "Soon we will mark Independence Day, when we will celebrate our country together. Life in Moldova is how we do it together! Thus, on this occasion, I invite the children to write to me how they see the Republic of Moldova. What does it mean, for you, to live in Moldova? What do you want the future to look like in the Republic of Moldova?", wrote Maia Sandu on a social network.

At the same time, the president invited the children to answer some questions about our country. "Draw how you see Moldova or write your answers to the questions: What does home mean to you? Why do you like the Republic of Moldova? What does it mean to be a free man? How do you understand democracy?", specified Maia Sandu.

Letters and drawings can be sent to: bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt 154, Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, MD-2073 Chisinau, or by email - [email protected], until August 25.
