Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- The State Road Administration (ASD) announced today that unauthorized construction works were identified on the national public road R6 Chisinau - Orhei - Balti.

"Following the situation created on the route R6 Chisinau - Orhei - Balti, km 137+927 (right side), where an economic agent intervened on the construction site, ASD examined the situation on the spot and found that on the land that is related on the mentioned road, construction works are being carried out on various objectives. The performance of the works is also registered on the public property of the state", indicates the ASD.

It was found that in the area of the roundabout, a fuel supply station is being built abusively, including on the land owned by the state, a car park is being built, the given actions being carried out in violation of the design norms and the provisions of the Road Law.

According to the Authorization, the owner was allowed to build the gas station according to an individual project, coordinated with the road administrator. However, it is currently found that the owner of the objective is carrying out construction works of the fuel station, based on a project that was not coordinated with ASD, a fact that contravenes the Authorization, the technical prescription and the execution project.

State Road Administration which is responsible for the maintenance, repair and administration of national roads, warns economic agents and individuals not to carry out unauthorized works, not to carry out commercial activities in the safety zone of national public roads, without permissive documents, issued by the relevant authorities.
