Moldovan speaker conveys congratulatory message on eve of Independence Day

Chisinau, August 26 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu sent a congratulatory message today on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, marked on 27 August.
The speaker urged the parliamentarians to celebrate Independence Day with the people of the country. "Dear colleagues, dear citizens, tomorrow, August 27, we celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova. It's an important day for all of us and I come with an urge to go celebrate this event with the people of the country, either in Chisinau, or in Bălți, Ungheni, Comrat, Cahul or in any other locality", he said.
The official said that Independence Day must strengthen us around a common ideal and in the desire to fully contribute to the development of the country.
Saturday marks the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova. On this occasion, several events will be organized in the capital, as well as in other localities of the country.
