Chisinau, August 27 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița today sent a congratulatory message on Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The message reads:
"Congratulations, dear citizens, on 31 years of independence, years in which we grew, learned, succeeded together. Get everything you want through work, merit and collaboration. I wish you health, fulfillment and joys lived with your loved ones.
Independence Day is a moment of understanding that we are responsible for ourselves and those around us, that we are given to take care of a palm of heaven and do everything we can to protect it, take care of it and pass it on to our children better than we received.
Independence means the freedom to decide for ourselves what we do next, aware of the consequences of our choices. Independence means responsibility for every action and the ability to use the opportunities of a constantly changing world.
The people of Moldova, located all over the world, celebrate today their place of origin, the place from which they started, the place where many of us hope to return to contribute to change, to make the country better."
