About 750 Ukrainian citizens employed

Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- About 750 citizens from Ukraine have been employed in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the National Employment Agency /ANOFM/, the most people are employed in: Chisinau (553), Balti (26), Ungheni (19) and Cahul (17).

Under employer notifications, Ukrainian citizens held jobs in the following professions: programmer, engineer, seamstress, salesperson, cook, waiter, doctor, educator and nurse.

In total, over 150 employers have shown their willingness to employ Ukrainian citizens. They advertised about 2200 job vacancies.

At the same time, more than 400 Ukrainian citizens registered in the records of territorial subdivisions under ANOFM to receive employment support. The institution offers the following free services to Ukrainian citizens: information on job vacancies, contact details of employers, guidance and employment support.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, currently over 76 thousand citizens of Ukraine are in Moldova.
