USMF Nicolae Testemițanu organized welcome ceremony of first year students

Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) Nicolae Testemițanu organized today the welcome ceremony for 1st year students.
"Today you enter a new world, from today you are part of the most humane profession, that of saving lives. To become good doctors you need empathy, vigilance, responsibility and a lot of reading. You have made a good choice and you must make every effort to become good professionals, with performances and satisfied patients", USMF Nicolae Testemițanu rector, professor Emil Ceban said.
"The medical profession requires courage, patience, perseverance from those who have chosen it. You have by your side an extraordinary, exceptional teaching staff, which will guide you on this path, to become quality doctors. We hope that when you graduate, the Republic of Moldova will already be part of the European Union, with a suitable medical system, so that you can achieve your professional goals. Until then, however, you must learn to learn, permanently, every day, without missing a single point, which could later cost a human life", Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco said.
The total number of young people who passed the competition at the University of Medicine of the Republic of Moldova this year is 1084 people in the eight study programs offered by the institution.
