Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, on a working visit to Calarasi, today visited the Business Incubator from this town, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Forty two companies work at this incubator with physical presence and two ones virtually. They have diverse types of activity, beginning with production of car upholstery, covers for musical instruments and clothes for children and ending with the bottling of lavender oils, fabrication of pastry products and Tabasco sauce of cayenne pepper. Due to these investments, 150 jobs were created in the Calarasi district.

The PM appreciated the outstanding results registered by the companies hosted by the Business Incubator and encouraged investors to continue developing the business at a wide scale.

„One of our priorities remains to be the identification of mechanisms of backing the business on the eve of the cold season of the year, to establish quite clear policies as to the optimization of the gas consumption. Yet, while we face all kinds of crises and make reserves of natural gas and crude oil, the governmental team is actively got involved in the launch of instruments, through which we grow and develop as country in all sectors. In this respect, I encourage you to analyze the programmes of the Organization for Business Development, which diversified the spectrum of projects meant to support the business environment,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.

During discussions, the prime minister referred to the subsidies provided to farmers, about the changes made to the fiscal policy, as well as to a new mechanism of long-term investment loans, due to be launched in the near time.

Representatives of the Calarasi Business Incubator came up with suggestions of optimizing the working processes, which are bureaucratized and tackled one of the principle challenges they face at present – increase in the maintenance costs in the cold season of the year.
