Autumn sanitation campaign launched in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 12 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The autumn sanitation campaign was launched today in Chisinau. All household services and housing stock managers, including private ones are involved in it.

According to Chisinau city hall, as part of the campaign, the sanitization of park areas, squares, alleys, cutting and removal of dry trees will be carried out. About 50 thousand trees will be planted in the green areas of the city.

Also, local authorities will carry out actions on sanitation of streets and sewage systems, sidewalks, waiting stations and the territories of the courtyards of housing blocks. At the same time, there will be intervention at the waste accumulation plateaus and the liquidation of unauthorized dumps.

The authorities warn the inhabitants of the capital and economic agents about the need for separate storage of waste (leaves and household waste) and the inadmissibility of burning waste of any origin. In case of non-compliance with these requests, private people and legal entities risk sanctions.

The autumn sanitation campaign is held on 12 September -30 November.
