Over 4,000 cases of COVID-19 recorded last week

Chisinau, 13 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health announced that last week, 4,073 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the country.

During the same period, 27,848 tests were carried out and 25 deaths were recorded.

Also, 464 people received their first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 3,139 received their third dose. In total, so far 1,070,852 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Starting from July, citizens can administer Booster 2 dose against COVID-19. At the same time, it is possible to vaccinate children who have reached the age of 12.

Specialists also recommend people to wear a protective mask in crowded public spaces and public transport. At the same time, wearing it is mandatory in medical institutions.
