Moldovan president promulgates laws providing for new measures of support for citizens

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today promulgated more amendments to the law on state budget, the law on state social insurances budget and the law on the mandatory health insurances, which provide for diverse measures of support for the citizens. The measures’ goal is to compensate the prices’ increase.      

The amendments promulgated see:

▪One-off payment worth 1,500 lei for all pensioners with pensions lower than 5,000 lei;  
▪Increase by 5.5 per cent of the salaries in the public sector and the providing of a one-off assistance of 3,000 lei, paid in two installments, to all public sector employees with gross salaries lower than 15,000 lei; ▪Increase by 10 per cent of the salaries in the medical sector;
▪Monthly allocation of 1,000 lei to children till the turning of the age of two years;  
▪Supplementing by 500 million lei of the fund of compensations for heating for the 2022 year;
▪Compensation of the increase in the rate of bank loans for entrepreneurs. In this respect, a fund worth 200 million lei was created. The mechanism of work will be announced soon.
