Mariana Draguțan ranked 5th at World Wrestling Championship

Chisinau, 15 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Fighter Mariana Draguțan ranked 5th at the World Championship in Belgrade, Serbia, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced yesterday.
In the 55 kg bronze medal match, she was defeated by Canadian Karla Gonzalez. "In the round of 16, Mariana lost to the future finalist, the Ukrainian Oleksandra Khomenets, but in the requalifications she had the Indian Sushma Shokeen at her disposal," CNOS said.
Also yesterday, Anastasia Nichita qualified for the final of the World Championship in Budapest, Hungary. In the semifinals, Tudor Cîrlan's student defeated Japanese Sakura Motoki. In the last act, Anastasia will meet Norwegian Grace Jacob Bullen.
