Best entrepreneurs from Causeni district nominated in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ - The best entrepreneurs from the south-eastern Causeni district of the 2021 year were nominated at a festive meeting on 16 September.

The participants in the contest were assessed according to more nominations: production; implementer of the green economic model; trade; services’ providing; entrepreneur-innovator; exporter; consultancy services; the youngest entrepreneur; the best woman entrepreneur.

„Even if the 2021 year was shadowed by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, anyway, the progress made by enterprises from the Causeni district should be appreciated. This is a good occasion to put emphasis on the promotion of economy, which is the most important pillar in the development and flourishing of the district,’’ the head of the Causeni district, Nicolae Gorban, said.  

The awarding of prizes to the best entrepreneurs from Causeni took place with the support of more regional branches of commercial banks, as well as with the assistance of Moldova’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). Attending the event, CCI President Sergiu Harea highlighted the contribution of business people from Causeni to the country’s economic development.   

The winners in the district contest can participate also in the national one, where the government’s Honorary Diploma, The best entrepreneur from the sector of small- and medium-sized enterprises, is awarded and prizes and gifts are offered. Also, the winners of the national contest benefit from cuts of up to 50 per cent in the tax of participation in one of the topic-related republican exhibitions and a free of charge space of four square metres.
