Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ - The education, youth and sport general department (DGETS) of the Chisinau city hall has urged pupils to congratulate their teachers symbolically and not collect money on the occasion of the professional day of the education sector employee, annually marked on 5 October.

The call was made to parents, teachers, the education and civil community. At the same time, DGETS urged people to observe the normative framework, which provides for the prohibition of the collection of money in general education institutions.

„The education, youth and sport general department will further monitor the observance of the provisions by representatives of the education sector as to the banning of the formal and informal payments and will undertake needed measures, in order to prevent and combat the corruptible acts in the education system,’’ reads a press release of the Moldovan capital’s city hall.
