Moldovan film CARBON presented at San Sebastian International Film Festival

Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/ - The world premiere of the film CARBON, directed by Ion Bors, has recently taken place at San Sebastian (Spain) International Film Festival. The project was accepted with much enthusiasm both by the audience and the international media. Attending the event were some of the actors playing the leading parts, among whom Dumitru Roman, Adriana Bitca and Ion Vintu, who watched the film for the first time.        

The specialized international media described the CARBON movie as a ‘’sweet-bitterish comedy’’ and Cineuropa notes that ‘’the film has all chances to impress the western audience with its combination of unpredictability and comic flair.’’ For its part, the audience appreciated the film’s humour, as well as the historical references. ‘’I liked everything. This is a new and fresh wave of the Moldovan film,’’ a spectator said.     

The national premiere of the CARBON movie will take place at the Nicolae Sulac National Palace on 4 October. Starting from 6 October, CARBON will be screened in all movie cinemas.
