Twenty movies screened at eighth edition of Romanian Film Days in Chisinau

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - Audience from Chisinau filled the movie theatres’ halls at screenings of the eighth edition of the Romanian Film Days (ZFR), held on 22-25 September. Twenty movies were screened in all.

The movies of the New Films section made the halls full and the audience participated, in a large number, in question-and-answer sessions as well.

According to the organizers, the screenings and discussions within the Focus section, dedicated to Romanian actor Dorel Visan, represented a great success.

Just as in 2021, the Romanian Film Days will take place in another five cities, Balti, Soroca, Nisporeni, Calarasi and Cahul, in each week-end during October. Several movies of the Chisinau selection will be screened in these settlements.

ZFR Chisinau is an event organized by the Association of Independent Cinema Men ALTERNATIVE CINEMA from Moldova and the production house ROVA FILM from Romania. The project is carried out with the support of the Department for Relation with Moldova, Moldovan Culture Ministry, National Cinematography Centre from Moldova, Mihai Eminescu National Cultural Institute and Romania’s Filmmakers Union.
