Law-enforcers launch blood donation campaign in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) has launched a campaign titled, Donate Blood, Support Pace of Life on Earth, held nationally.

IGP head Viorel Cernauteanu stressed that policemen remained a reliable partner in backing the activity of voluntary donation of blood and of sanguine components.

„Our daily mission implies to help people. Thus, I express gratitude for the openness and participation of my colleagues in the blood donation campaign. This is a human and voluntary gesture. The donation of blood is a tradition for the National Police and this has become part of the lifestyle for many of my colleagues,’’ Viorel Cernauteanu noted.

At the same time, the law-enforcers urged citizens to donate blood, to prove humanity and show that they care.

The campaign, Donate Blood, Support Pace of Life on Earth, will be held till 28 October.
