Photo exhibition opened at Moldovan parliament in context of World Mental Health Day

Chisinau, Oct. 4 /MOLDPRES/- The Parliament will host a photo exhibition in the context of the World Mental Health Day by 11 October.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the ten exhibited works capture moments from the activity of community mental health centers throughout the country. Specialists in the 40 centers offer psychiatric and psychological consultations, as well as help in treatment and recovery for people of any age.

The network of community mental health centers was created and developed as part of the reform of mental health services. Starting from 2014, the reform process is facilitated by the Moldovan-Swiss project MENSANA, according to the needs established by the Ministry of Health.

World Mental Health Day is marked annually on 10 October and aims to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world.
