Revenues worth 65.5 billion lei accumulated in state budget since beginning of year

Chisinau, Oct. 6 /MOLDPRES/- In nine months of 2022, revenues worth 65.5 billion lei (over 3.27 billion euros) were accumulated at the national public budget, increasing by 11.5 billion lei compared to the same period last year . The expenses amounted to 67.3 billion lei, which compared to the same period of 2021, are higher by 10.8 billion lei, according to the Ministry of Finance.

According to the institution, the execution of the national public budget ended with a deficit of 1.8 billion lei, and the balances of the monetary means in the accounts of the component budgets of the national public budget amounted to 15.6 billion lei.

State budget revenues amounted to 42.3 billion lei. Compared to the same period last year, they increased by 8.5 billion lei. "Revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service amounted to 17.7 billion lei, up by 3.1 billion lei than the same period of 2021, and revenues administered by the Customs Service amounted to 24.5 billion lei , increasing by 4.3 billion lei compared to the same period last year", the quoted source said.

Also, state budget expenditures were executed of 45.6 billion lei, registering an increase of 7.8 billion lei, compared to 2021. The execution of the state budget ended with a deficit of 3, 3 billion lei, and the cash balances in the state budget accounts were 11.3 billion lei.

The Ministry of Finance ensured the honoring of all financial commitments, all payments being fully financed. "The budget has sufficient financial resources, and there are no risks of non-execution/stopping of the expenses approved in the budget", said the Ministry of Finance.
