Moldovan PM pays official visit to Baku

Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- On 10-12 October Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița will be on an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, and will have several meetings with high-ranking officials and representatives of the business environment.

According to the government's communication and protocol department, the premier will have a meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to identify possibilities to expand cooperation in key areas of common interest.

At the same time, Gavrilița will meet with her Azerbaijani counterpart, Ali Asadov. The officials will point out the possibilities to strengthen cooperation in the energy sector and will analyze the prospects of the import of natural gas from Azerbaijan.

The official will also discuss with Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, and Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.

Also, the premier will participate in a meeting of the Moldovan-Azeri intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, organized in Baku, and in the bilateral forum of businessmen, where the investment opportunities in our country will be presented.
