Wine Festival organized in Causeni

Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- Best winemakers from Causeni were honored this weekend at an event organized by the city hall. The celebration was completed by a brass band festival, organized for the first time by the local authorities.

On this occasion, the city administration organized a program of actions aimed at promoting the values, customs and traditions of the locality, including those of growing vines and wine production.

Exhibitions supported by folk craftsmen, chefs, winemakers, artistic programs, sports competitions, fairs and tastings were prepared for the residents of Causeni and guests.

Three out of the nine Gold Barrels, for homemade wine, were won by the Causeni residents at the national wine celebration, organized on 1-2 October on the Great National Assembly Square in the capital.
