Moldova's team to be in E group for EURO 2024 Football Championship

Chisinau, 10 October /MOLDPRES/ - The drawing of lots of the qualifiers for the 2024 European Football Championship took place at the Festhalle Frankfurt, Germany, - the host of the final tournament, on 9 October. Moldova is in the E group, in which its adversaries will be the national teams of Poland, the Czech Republic, Albania and Faroe.

The matches for the qualifiers for EURO 2024 will be held on the period March – November 2023. The first two teams from each group will qualify directly for the European Championship. The other three national teams will win their place following the Nations League play-offs due in March 2024.

The final tournament of EURO 2024 is scheduled to be held in Germany during 14 June – 14 July. The opening match will take place on the Munich Football Arena and the final – on the Olympiastadion from Berlin.
