Well-known Moldovan light music singer marks birthday

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - A well-known light music singer, People’s Artist, holder of the Order of the Republic Lidia Botezatu marks her birthday today.
Lidia Botezatu was born in the Hancesti city on 12 October 1949. During 1963-67, she studied at the Stefan Neaga music college. In 1967, she was invited to the Noroc light music band by its artistic director, her future husband Mihai Dolgan.
In 1994, Lidia Botezatu was awarded the honorific title of master in art, in March 2012, under presidential decree – the Order of the Republic and in 2018 - the honorific title of People’s Artist of Moldova.
