Cooperation between China and Moldova has wide perspectives in new energies field

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cooperation between China and Moldova has wide perspectives in the field of new energies. Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova Yan Wenbin has made statements to this effect in an interview given with the MOLDPRES State News Agency.    

According to the official, the cooperation in the sector of new energies between China and Moldova has recorded preliminary results. ‘’The photovoltaic station from Criuleni, built with the assistance of the Chinese government, is presently the biggest of this kind in Moldova. I noticed that, not so long ago, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, on a visit to the Criuleni district, paid a special visit to this station,’’ Yan Wenbin said.     

The ambassador stressed that the diversification of the energy sources, development and use of green energy were current priorities of Moldova’s government. ‘’China is world leader in the development of  new energies and presents outstanding advantages as regards the new energy technologies, quality, production capacity and cost. There is no doubt that, in the field of new energies, the cooperation between China and Moldova has wide perspectives and the ways of cooperation can be flexible and diverse, such as trade, investments, production in collaboration, transfer of technology, etc., which requires a permanent relation and discussions between companies from our countries,’’ the official noted.        

Yan Wenbin took over the office of China’s Ambassador to Moldova in December 2021.
