All kindergartens in Moldovan capital ready to be connected to heating system

Chisinau, Oct. 17 /MOLDPRES/- All kindergartens in Chisinau are ready to be connected to the heating system. Deputy head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport Andrei Pavaloi made the statement at today's operational meeting of the municipal services.

The heating system was cleaned in the educational institutions. "On 13 October in groups, the average air temperature was +15..+18°C. At the same time, in the last few days, a drop in temperature has been observed, which means that it could be colder in the rooms. Kindergartens are connected to the heating agent when the air temperature inside registers an average lower than +18°C. Today, managers of institutions can request connection to the heating", said Andrei Pavaloi.

For his part, acting general director of Termoelectrica Vasile Leu said the company is technically prepared to connect preschool institutions and other public utility institutions to the heating system".

Also, the municipal authorities announced that schools in the capital are to be connected to the heat after the autumn vacation, which will start on 26 October.
