Public sector employees with salary lower than 15,000 lei to receive one-off assistance on behalf of state in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The public sector employees with salaries lower than 15,000 lei will receive a one-off assistance worth 3,000 lei. At a meeting in the western Ungheni city, the cabinet today approved a decision on the distribution and redistribution of allocations provided for in the law on the state budget for 2022, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.    

The one-off exceptional payment will be provided to back the employees whose basic job is within the public sector authorities/institutions and who are remunerated according to the law on the single system of salary payment in the public sector.

Under the draft, financial means worth 437.6 million lei will distributed from the budgetary allocations approved, of which 107.9 million lei – to the authorities financed from the state budget, 327 million lei - to the local public authorities and 2.7 million lei – to the National Health Insurances House.   

The exceptional one-off payment will not be subjected to taxation.
