Moldovan president attends Moldova Youth Forum 2022

Chisinau, Oct. 23 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu participated today in the biggest event dedicated to young people in our country, Moldova Youth Forum 2022. The discussion with the participants specifically referred to the actions necessary to make Moldova a country where young people would like stay, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state emphasized that this is possible only if we work hard, honestly and with passion, and only with the involvement of young people. "I was happy to meet curious and dedicated young people who want to know how innovation will be promoted and how education will become more qualitative in our country. We discussed the involvement of young people in politics and how to remove the impediments for those who want to become civil servants", said Maia Sandu.

The president urged the forum participants to become part of the country's transformation process. "To build an effective state that works for the people, and to achieve it faster, we need the energy, ingenuity, civic spirit and vision of our young people. Although the salary of a civil servant is not very competitive, working in the public service represents a unique chance to gain valuable experience at the beginning of the path", Maia Sandu said.

At the end of the discussion, Maia Sandu said she promoted and will continue to promote young people who want and can contribute to the development of the country. "The beneficiaries of the transformation processes we have initiated and of European integration will be first of all young people and they must have an important role in these processes", she said.
