Moldovan speaker to attend first parliamentary summit Crimea Platform

Chisinau, Oct. 24 /MOLDPRES/ - Speaker Igor Grosu will participate in the first parliamentary summit Crimea Platform on 25 October.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the event will be held in Zagreb, organized by Ukraine and Croatia.

At the summit, the Moldovan speaker will deliver a speech and have several meetings with his counterparts present at the event.

The event will focus on the current security situation in Ukraine and the possibilities of national parliaments and international parliamentary institutions to contribute to the Platform's priority areas of activity.

Attending the event will be over 50 speakers and deputy speakers, and heads and deputy heads of parliamentary assemblies of international institutions. A joint declaration will be adopted at the end of the summit.
