Moldovan PM receives OSCE Special Representative

Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has received on visit OSCE Special Representative for Transnistrian Settlement Process Thomas Mayr-Harting, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The officials considered the present situation in the region, as well as the consequences of the war in Ukraine on Moldova’s energy security and the process of negotiation with the Transnistrian side.

The sides referred to the need to immediately identify and implement viable solutions, which would settle the problems faced by the residents from both banks of Dniester. The officials also agreed on the boosting of the mutual cooperation and maintaining a dynamic and constructive dialogue, which is to take into account the interests of all Moldova’s citizens.
